Colossians 1:18, “And He is the head of the body, the Church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.”
The Head of the Body is Risen, therefore the Body herself—the Bride, the Church—is risen and rising in Him. And with the rising of His Body will come also the rising of priestly and kingly garment of that Body, namely, the whole Creation. The Cosmos will be set free into the freedom of the risen people of God, who themselves are set free into the freedom of the risen Son of God. Disciple of Christ, this is our reality and our hope because He is risen.
