Isaiah 26:3-4, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.”
The thing that stands out in this text is that a PERSON–namely, Yahweh God Himself, is the anchor for our peace….and we know God through and in His Son…specifically His Son’s death and resurrection.
So peace, here, is anchoring, setting, staying our mind on the reality of WHO God has shown Himself to be in His Son.
