Isaiah 29:13-14, “Because this people draw near with their mouth…while their hearts are far from me…therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder up wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish.”
YHWH’s response to the distant hearts of His people is to do “wonder upon wonder” in their midst….and what will this wisdom-destroying, heart-drawing wonder of God be?
