John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Jesus Christ is the definitive self-revealing word of God. In Christ, God “speaks” Himself to us through the medium of flesh and blood, and the climax of this self-proclamation is the cross.
If we would know God, let us listen to the Word who became flesh and heralded God’s Name from Golgotha.
