Psalm 7:12-13, “If a person does not repent, God sharpens His sword and prepares to shoot His bow. He prepares deadly weapons against him; He gets ready to shoot flaming arrows.”
The One who will finally fire the arrows of divine wrath IS the one who was first pierced by their equivalent on the cross–Jesus Christ. And if we turn and receive Him, then the arrows aimed at us will have been borne by Him.
